Haynes Motor Museum

We were delighted to be selected as the sole electrical contractor for the prestigious £6 million museum extension, renovation and refurbishment project. The entire museum frontage has been extended and replaced with new exhibits and layout of over 400 cars and motorcycles. The work included three new exhibition halls, three modernised halls, interactive displays and virtual reality interpretation, Haynes Motorland Children’s adventure play zone, a suite of function rooms, Cafe 750 and the museum gift shop. The LED lighting system in particular has transformed the ‘look’ of the vintage cars, enhancing the paint finish and chrome brightwork.

Elements included:

• Upgrade of all major power supplies and distribution including main panel board transformer delivering onward three phase supply of 800A per phase
• Structured cabling with fibre optic backbone, CAT 6 cabling throughout supplying over 200 data points.
• LED lighting system to exhibition halls
• Public address system
• Conferencing AV system
• Industrial standard electrical kitchen fit
• External & car park safety lighting
• Boiler control
• Small power and lighting
