The Blue School

Our client The Blue School contacted us after experiencing difficulties with the power infrastructure of the school campus. In common with many schools of this age, new buildings have periodically added with power supplies being sourced from existing buildings. This was leading to breaker issues and supply interruption due to insufficient capacity within the main switch room, distribution boards and cabling. Following a period of electricity monitoring to establish the nature and extent of the issues, an entire new switch room was designed, specified and installed; together with cabling and distribution boards to the affected buildings.

Elements included:

•  Electricity monitoring, analysis and reporting
• Project management (including builders, ground workers, fire, security and back up power)
• Switch room design and installation
• Distribution board installation
• Cable trenching and installation
• Uninterrupted fire and security alarm systems
